Description
On Sunday, October 20, I was walking home and when I got to the grate in the sidewalk on Grand St between Washington and Greene St., I stepped on the grate that is in the sidewalk and with it being wet, I slipped, fell and hit my head on the grate. I can hardly move today. I truly believe that if the grate were turned 45 degrees, that I would not have fallen. I am 65 years old. Falls like this are very dangerous for people my age. Please consider turning the grate around so no one else falls.
