The alley just on south side of 3rd st between Orlando and Sweetzer has to be one (if not the) worst street in Los Angeles. We are talking about giant pot holes, hundreds of them, some of which are so deep you can lose your car parts on the ground as you fall in them. Have we told the city? yes, and they said "see you in 10 years"!!! really. that is exactly what we were told. In the meantime, people passing through end up spending thousands of $$$ fixing their cars because of this situation. Even once a commercial truck got heavily damaged. you could imagine what these giant deep holes can do to a regular car. can anyone help?

I am in touch with Wendy Greuel, city controller, whom has been an advocate of these issues. her office said they were sending people to check today or tomorrow. but we need all need to find ways, including perhaps singing something and sending to 3rd street board for businesses with daily services to pay for it (the hotel, Joan's on 3rd, the new bar, and a couple other high traffic businesses. of course as Joan is on board, she may shut it down and board would take her side anyway.
