  So pedestrian signal works fine...but cars don't obey signal.

  Sounds like a signage issue...

  Or perhaps drivers would actually follow the law.

  Maybe a simple sign for drivers to "yield for pedestrians" would help. But the pedestrian signal probably works as it was designed....

  Sign would be great. But better street curb design, traffic calming, and a functioning and well timed walk signal would be great too. The signal to cross northward to Grosvenor did not work this evening for two signals. The second distant signal worked, but not the first. No beg button available either at the light to manually trigger signal crossing.

  My experience was that the signal was not working (always on a red hand). As a consequence, cars were not yielding to pedestrians crossing (me). As a supplement, this intersection is dangerous for pedestrians even when the crossing signal is operating normally.
