OK, so here is the buzz on this...the folks above tried to sell this building, but there is contamination from the old Chevron Station next door. Some contractor is parking all of his trucks in the parking lot - apparently he owns that lot (the contractor), so as much as many real estate firms would love to sell both lots together, it isn't going to happen any time soon. So if we can put the facilities people at the oakland diocece (the current owner) together with the contractor, we'll get this place cleaned up.

(Sorry - the "folks above" I mention are the "Tri Commercial" real estate firm.)

I got the name of the owner of the parking lot and shared it with the facilities manager at the oakland diocese. The facilities manager promises to call.

The Oakland Diocese is sending a painter to the site on Tuesday, 9/3

Still no action on this issue...I emailed the Oakland Diocese again on 9/4 and once again today.
