Description
I recently noticed that the City has scheduled for removal 2 trees on the 2600 block of W Main , the South side, one of the trees is leaning, but the other tree is perfectly healthy and provides shade as well as attractiveness for the block. As the owner of 2609 W Main, I would appreciate if the tree could be pruned instead of removed. Those of us on the block are working hard to upgrade the entire block by taking care of the tree wells, planting flowers in them and watering the trees. We would appreciate recognition of this effort by the City rather than destruction of what we are doing. This is a very busy restaurant block and it needs to project a beautiful image rather than a run down one simply for the PR of the city Please tell those of us what the city is doing to IMPROVE the block, other than cutting down trees.

Mgmt team notes that they have spoken to Ms. Decamps about the removal of tress last year and ensured her that the trees will be replaced by the end of this month. This request has been investigated and completed.
