this is very very true. Also PLEASE shovel the sidewalk people. This means get out there soon after the snow. It makes the process much easier if it is not all packed down and walked and driven on. Why do people not have pride in their property I love having my driveway cleared down to concrete and am glad to be one of the first to do it each time it snows.

ha ha lavo... someone has a sense of humour !! ... anyway, call the By-Law officer, thats their job !! Your neighbour will get a warning or a fine, and you'll be happy!! ( I Love my neighbour, he shovels the sidwalk for me !! ) There really are good neighbours out there !

After every snow storm I shovel my front sidwalks and then along comes the city graders and puts back onto my sidewalk more than I shoveled off. Then they spread sand on the streets and the next day they grade the streets, then they put more sand down and wonder why their budget is out of whack. Lasy summer they painter the lines on my street and 2 hours later they came along and washed the street. Yep, next day they were back painting it again. what wonderful minds we have in City Hall running this city - or trying to.

I don't mind shoveling it onto my lawn . And I appreciate being graded so quickly . My problem comes with the grader coming along and not putting the blade down in front of my driveway. We had a ridge about 20 inches high and 2 feet wide packed so hard i needed to chop it to break it and shovel. Older people on my block were trapped in their driveway. About 2 hours later along came the loader to finally free them. But in the meantime some cars were actually hung up on the solid ridge.

why does the city feel like making the snow they remove snow they have to block your drive way with the snow to make it hard to get out???? fair is fair!!!!!!!

I don't shovel it into the street, I usully shovel it onto my lawn, or onto the blvd. It is the city's snow, after all, I'm doing them a favour by shovelling it. I mean, I don't own the sidewalk in front of my house. If I did, you'd think I'd be allowed to park there.

but why does the city feel the need to plow snow into ur driveway and then when u complain about it they rip up ur lawn with the blades

I put the snow on the street to make big bumps to slow down my speed demon neighbour.
it;s like a friggen race car track on my street, and the cops are to busy to sit here 24/7;
