I just was onsite with the State DOT. For some background, the State is responsible for the bridge and for property on both sides of the bridge, however the City is responsible for the tree strip and road. The State will make a pass along their property to pick up some trash and sweep the sidewalk of debris. This is going to be an ongoing issue however because this section is not on either parties' list for consistent maintenance. Keep posting here when there are issues and I'll forward along to the State.
