Most open air ditches in this neighborhood need to be dug out to assist drainage. During Imelda the lack of drainage was a safety concern and caused many vehicles and homes to flood.

I disagree strongly that the drainage is functioning,... it doesn’t drain, the water doesn’t run off anywhere it is left as standing water all year round
