Description

On 10/1/19 an employee was walking south on Horton Street from 5980 Horton to 1440 Stanford Ave. Employee was walking on the curb looking straight. She did not see that the curb ended with a ~4.5 inch dip to allow for wheelchair access long 1475 Powell Street. There were no warning signs or visible painted sidewalk in her direction. Employee continued to walk assuming the sidewalk was flat and fell off the sidewalk curb (painted yellow on one side only) fracturing her right knee.
