Description
The time allotted to cross Westover Hills Blvd at New Kent is much too short. While there time to cross to the median island and then wait for the next signal, this is not ideal owing to many people crossing here have young children in tow. While it may be safe to stand in the median, it is not fun when you are trying to keep one or more small children out of traffic. Could the time allowed to cross be extended such that someone walking a normal walking pass be able to sufficient cross before time expires?

2/25/2014 - Thank you so much for your communication with Richmond City Government online. This situation was reported previously and the same prescription is being applied; please walk to the median and press the traffic controller button in the median to continue safety to the other side of the street. A traffic controller has been placed at the median because no further timing adjustments can be made to the traffic signals.
