I've called 311 several times as well as family and friends in this area. It's been over a month and still not cleaned up. Makes the area look bad.

I am not sure why CoABQ closed this ticket stating it has "addressed the issue". As of this morning I still had to dodge the large overgrown weeds that have made the travel lanes smaller on my way in to work. There is still litter in the medians and also weeds in the medians besides being in the travel lanes.

As of 6:15am 8/21/13 this issue is not resolved. Please re-open the ticket until someone has cleared both the weeds and the litter. I will continue to re-open this ticket until this request has been resolved, especially since the weeds are impeding traffic flow and could wind up being a safety hazard to drivers and the cause of an accident. Thank you!

As of 5:00pm on 8/21/13 this issue is not resolved. Why does the 311 Citizen Contact Center keep closing this request when the issue is still present? Please STOP closing the ticket until the weeds are cleared and the litter has been picked up. THANK YOU!

Is the City of Albuquerque actually watching this site, or is it just an automated system that sends letters out to people. How does this site work? What's the point if the city isn't actually doing anything?

@CleanupABQ NO, it seems like an automated system is assigning numbers to these requests and then it closes it out. I am going to reopen this request over and over until the problem is resolved. Here is a picture from 5 minutes ago (attached). This problem is not resolved. Request #5 to clean up the weeds & litter.
