Description

On 11-9 the Huntsville Track Club held a half marathon along sections of the Aldridge Creek Greenway. Not only did they not pick up water cups and Gu & Clif containers near where they had a water stop set up near the bridge coming across from McGuken Park but they spray painted HM & a turn around arrow near the gazebo not far from Mt
Gap Rd. They also left 15 orange arrows showing the direction to run, still on the walkway Sunday and didn't bother to pick up the ones they did take off the painted turn around arrow which for some reason also had to have orange arrows attached on top of it, but threw them into the nearby bushes. Why did they have to use the stickers instead of using chalk arrows (like other groups do) or putting a person at the turn around point instead? I would not expect city employees to clean up the mess made by this running group.
