Any word on when this will be fixed? I drove by this area Sunday afternoon and someone had a flat tire due to a pothole.

I've uploaded a google maps picture to show the troubled area (on the right lane). As stated on my initial comment, it is from the train tracts to the Chelsea/Everett border.

I don't really know why the streets of chelsea are in bad condition and no one fix them..so many years with same problems....but excise taxes always on time....thank you...

This section of the street (which is the worst) falls on City of Everett's side.
The city of Everett's correspondent is THE WORST. At least Chelsea acknowledges the issue before ignoring it!
Second Street in Everett (from the everett/chelsea city line) to Route 16 is one of the worse roads that I've traveled on...

Mayor DeMaria should be mortified by the condition of this road, before wooing casinos, he needs to fix his home front.

I sent email regarding this problem road to Everett City Hall and requested that the email be shared with the mayor. We'll see if this goes anywhere, but doubt it since this road has been neglected for many many years. The corner of Second & Rt 16 (by the car wash) has severe road issues. Last week I drove by they had cones blocking off the area.
