Wow. I hit this driving up Whalley the other day. I started picking it up passing by Popeye's and lost it as we approached Westville. It was reggae, as I recall. Normally I'm all for pirate radio, but this station definitely steps on 90.5 FM.

This has been happening for at least a couple years. Now it appears to be getting worse. I used to be able to get a clear signal in my house but the last few days it even comes in over my home stereo. I've gotten the interference as far south as Legion Ave, as far east as Church (on an overcast day) and as far north as Division. I never paid attention going west. It seems to be concentrated along the Whalley corridor.

I reported to the FCC and this is what I got back from them. I like how they felt it necessary to yell "SUBMITTED BY BROADCASTERS" at me.)

I'm reopening this. I got the interference the last few nights (after 7p.m.) usually driving west on Chapel from downtown. It starts around Howe and continues to my driveway on Winthrop. Heard it last night. Not as strong but still there.

yes i heard it from norton parkway to elaa t grasso, its really annoying as i can't listen to WNPR!

this problem is still here, I couldn't hear WNPR whilst i was at edge of the woods, please fix this!

This is still not fixed. In fact I think the station is getting stronger. It now interferes with my home radio too.

"I couldn't hear WNPR whilst I was at Edge of the Woods." That's maybe the bourgiest statement I've ever heard in my life.

or perhaps thats just where i was when i couldn't hear it, but yes i wasn't shopping there, my fiance was!

I've also submitted this to the FCC, but it sounds like WNPR actually needs to be the folks contacting the FCC on this. Mr Dankosky- the problem stems from a pirate Reggae station that I think is on 90.3. They have been doing this for years, but I think that they have recently upgraded their equipment since they now interfere much further than they did before.

Wednesday, while attempting to listen to the Faith Middleton Show, another pirate radio station presented interference.
