  The sign is 8 feet tall and 4.3 feet wide. It is about 20 feet from my driveway. It is an eyesore and violates county law of no signs taller than 5 feet next to someone’s house. This church sign should not be as tall as regular street signs. It is a distraction to drivers and is a completely unnecessary sign. Will be consulting my lawyer if it is not removed by today.

  Any updates on this illegal sign? It is about 20 feet from my driveway and it needs to be removed by the county or else I will be removing it. I was told it would take a week or two for the inspector to come out and it’s been almost two months.

  I conducted my inspection on December 9, 2019. After the inspection Traffic Engineering was notified and it is being investigated. I will have more information within the week.

  Thanks for the update.

  In summary: The sign is too large for it’s location in front of homes. When I look out my bedroom window and my daughters bedroom window and my front room window all I can see is this huge Trinity Bible Church sign. I don’t want to see it. I don’t think it’s fair. We are not church going people. I find the sign to be offensive.

  Also, if the sign is moved elsewhere do the words need to be written out in a 4 foot long single line? Can’t the 3 words be written out on 3 separate lines? This would shorten the width of the sign and allow it to go down to one post in the ground rather than two.

  Please let me know of any progress on this. I hope Traffic Engineering can put themselves in our shoes. Would they like to be looking at a huge Bible Church sign every time they looked out one of the windows on the front side of their home? Doubtful.

  Thank you again for your consideration on the removal of this sign.

  The sign was moved about 60 feet closer to Truck House Road. It was an approved sign.
