Description
A request was submitted a couple of weeks ago related to potential controlled trail crossing on Recker between Guadalupe and Elliot, but has since been archived. It would be appreciated if that study would also include providing restrictions to vehicles using the public utility easement as a cross cut from Recker to Power Rd and Highland High and from Recker to the next block west. This easement, while necessary, allows all types vehicles to travel, unrestricted, blending both pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles. It also creates additional noise, dust and potential safety concerns near the residents who live on the border of this access. Thank you.

Actually, to the east of Recker, that is incorrect. There are two parcels, one is owned by Morrison Ranch, the second, and one that borders our community, was owned by the developer but has since been abandoned for over a decade so our HOA has been attempting to have the town do something with it. Where these two parcels meet is the location of the sewer or RCWD pipe that runs to Recker.
The other issue is the speed at which Town vehicles travel that easement. Park Ranger vehicle came through two days ago at approx 20 mph leaving a wall of dust along the entire stretch of the south of our community. It would be nice if it was communicated to all town departments that use the easement to keep it under 10 mph. Some are considerate others not so.
Thanks for your consideration.
