Description

The clean out cap in the street is raised above the level of the street. When it snows the plow hits it. Over time due to the movement of the blacktop it gets worse each year. In the past couple of years Public Works has dropped off a cone that prior to a snow fall I put over the cap so that the plow driver goes around it and won't clip it. As you can see from the photo this is right in front of my mailbox which creates additional issues. They have tried to do a patch 2 times (in the middle of winter) but the patch immediately get popped off with the next plowing and i'm then gathering blacktop out of the street and grass. Can someone come out and lower the cap? I have also seen a cone at the end of Peddler Dr. so I believe that is a similar issue.
