The city is working on the waterline. Our business parking lot is not easily accessible for our customers because half of our driveway is blocked off. We had to close our store on November 9, because of all the equipment here. When will this work be completed??

Thanks for contacting us about this issue. We had two breaks on this waterline this past week. We had a crew work throughout the weekend and Veterans' Day holiday to repair the line and restore service.
In addition, we worked on a design to replace the line, and issued a short fused, 5-day bid to have a contractor replace it. We opened bids today and are working on getting the funding and contract in place to repair it before there are further issues.
We'll keep you posted on the progress of the item.

We are currently working on a temporary fix to reopen the driveway without compromising water service to the area. I'll let you know how things proceed.

We have ordered a set of temporary traffic control devices (steel plates). They will be in town and installed on Monday, 11-25-19.
