When we reported the burned out streetlight in front of 3560 Windemere Dr. in late October we were reminded by the City that this light (and no doubt others in the area) are the responsibility of DTE, not the City. This is consistent with our past experience when this light has been burned out. So on November 9 we called DTE to report the problem. The "ticket number" for this "street light repair" is #4175-8638. Perhaps calling DTE (again!) at 800 477 4747 might help.

Here is the response we received to our report of the burned out street light at 3560 Windemere. Note, this ticket number is different from the one that DTE gave us when we called them about this outage on November 9.

City of Ann Arbor wrote:
City staff have determined that referenced light(s) are owned and maintained by DTE. A ticket has been submitted, on your behalf. The ticket number is 41627511. If you would like to follow up with DTE, they can be reached at 1-800-477-4747. This is a duplicate report and DTE is aware of the outage. We will be closing this ticket, but any questions this light is reported under the above ticket #.

DTE has informed us that the streetlight has been fixed.
