The dead trees must be replaced. "This issue has been resolved" will not be acceptable as a final response since we have no idea of whose notion of "resolution" is involved. We've lost too much of the canopy--and are losing more, more rapidly, as heat stress increases--to treat this issue as if it were on the same level as an abandoned mattress or a dead rat. (Grateful as I am for the removal of both!)
