The bricks should be replaced with smooth surface concrete so that everyone will be able to walk safely. My mother is handicapped and requires extra assistance when walking along this sidewalk, and has fallen in the past, and has witnessed others fall as well.

Hi Skrap and Fellsway_apt,
Thank you for following up with both the original request and your second follow up. This is a larger issue that the planning department is working on currently. Please check out our Somerville By Design: Davis Square project to learn more. http://www.somervillema.gov/departments/ospcd/by-design/davis The next upcoming planning meeting is July 30th. In the meantime I am going to close this, but please be of mind that we aware of this issue.
