No it's not legal , i forgot the exact distance one needs to park away from it ( 15 feet ?) Is it enforced rarely if at all ..Do i advise you not to do it , strongly ..If there's a fire and your car is parked there , don't be surprised if it's whacked with axes and filled with water etc.
