Loud car sound systems drive me insane. Try living near an intersection where every nice day, hour after hour, your house is being shaken by horrible bass, and people feel they have to "share" their horrible taste in music with everyone within ear shot. It has come to the point where I dread Spring and hate nice weather in New Haven, because it just means that every low class, loud person has their windows down and their sound system turned up. I pray for the the price of gas climb to $4 + per gallon to keep these people off the road.

I hear that!! Why do we a have a noise ordanance or even Alderman and woman? This is one of the main issues this city has but no one's doing anything about it. My family been living here for over 30 years and we are thinking about moving down south in a quiet suburb. It's sad where I live now 25 years was the suburbs and now it's where crack heads live in darkness and drug deals are made from cars and people pull their cars in and have sex. And oh yeah, my Alderman lives right on the street and the Police sub station sits on the corner. When we moved here as Afro-Americans, we respected that we moved into a more of a Jewish neighborhood. So we respected where we were by living according to the quiet, upstanding people who lived here. Now forget about it. New haven has gone to down so bad that people as young as 30 years old is afraid to walk the streets anymore. A anouncement need to be made by our mayor to change the city. Unless he wants us to turn into another Hartford. And just for the record, we are not that far off now.

This issue has not gotten better at all! There is a man who lives close to me that when he comes out of his house to get in his car he blast his music loud. Even when he comes home he does the same. I have complained to him before and he stopped. But now he doesn't care. Also there are many cars who come down norton st between whalley and goffe st that blast their music at all times of the day and night. Should I get pictures of these vehicles to give to the police? I don't know what to do anymore.

Now we have a neighbor who sits in is car and lets his music play loud out of his car while he sits on the porch. Disturbing people who live next to him. Can;t hear your TV in the house when he is out there. It just started when he started driving a green 4 door sadan. I believe the address is 375 norton st. Just want him to think about his neighbors that all.
