When the drawbridge on Chapel and East is out to allow for passing commercial boats, it would help if there was a way of communicating to on-coming traffic 3-4 blocks ahead of time that it’s out instead of finding out when we get there. For example – simple traffic signs that reads “Chapel DrawBridge OUT” w/an accompanying red/green light can be placed on Chapel & Hamilton and on East & Grand. That way we can avoid clogging or having 5-10 cars making u-turns at Chapel & East simultaneously.Hope this makes sense!
