I agree. Some people in this community have no respect for the sanctity of Tatnall Park as a place for children to play safely without worrying about cars/traffic. The park is meant to be a place of beauty and relaxation and every weekend, these people turn it into a parking lot. I agree. They need to be ticketed and fined, not just asked to leave. If possible the wide sidewalks that lead into the park should probably be blocked with cement posts and the dirt path next to the tennis courts also needs some type of barrier. It is completely absurd that

It seems like this was a request to MPD (or BSO) to start enforcing existing laws. Everyone knows the park is operated by Parks and Rec, so that's not particularly helpful. Last time I checked, Bibb County Parks and Rec folks didn't have a lot of law enforcement authority....

Captain willie May of Precinct 2 has said the problem will be addressed, but no one has yet received a single ticket.
