Description

Hi! Love sitting at the pond behind the Police Station in my car enjoying nature while reading, texting, etc. I’m about to leave 5:25 and feeling bad for the people trying to walk around the pond in the dark! I can see there are lights around the pond but none of them are on. The 4 lamp posts next to parking are on but on is dim (probably LED) and doesn’t match the others which are a brighter and a warmer light bulb color. The one is grey/blue and doesn’t match or light things up. We have such a classy town, would be nice if the whole pond was lit up around 5:00 until the days get longer. Thanks! Caring about our town! Oh! And don’t know if they were finally taken down, but never heard back from anyone when I pleaded for you to take down the rusty, falling apart, 1950’s, huge circular Welcome to Rochester signs on the Rochester High School property by Tennis Courts (on Walton) that has advertisements for Avon Players, and other organizations around town on it. They are so outdated and such an eye sore, falling apart. There is one on the Leader Dogs for the Blind property too on Rochester Rd. as you come into town. I think our Welcome to Rochester signs should be as classy as our town is! Made the suggestion awhile ago. Lived here all my life and I’m 58 so I’ve seen Rochester grow and improve. Love this town!!💕Thank you! Gail Peters
