Agree, I rarely travel that area and was on my way to an appointment at 1 pm, luckily I was in the far left turn lane on Heisley and was able to get past the "parking lot on Rt 20".

People need to use common sense. This was a gut shot in the middle of the day during one of the busiest seasons of the year and complicated by fantastic weather.

On new New Year's Eve, the traffic was backed up past Little Mountain Rd. When I was sitting in the traffic by Staples, an ambulance had to drive in the opposite lanes to get past all of the stopped cars. The city should post a no stopping sign and then ticket anybody stopped on Mentor Ave waiting to pull into the car wash.

Accidents have been caused there. Where are the police in all this? They have to see it. The business owner should be aware of it also. There are many ways to resolve this. Ignoring it is not the answer

isn't it illegal for those people to be stopped on mentor avenue, blocking and preventing the flow of traffic??? it's right next to a MAJOR intersection. i shake my head everytime i see it.

I agree, let's punish a business for operating something that people want to spend their money on.

No one wants to punish the business, but something different needs to be done. Stopping traffic in a high volume traffic area is not safe. Perhaps the car wash and reconfigure its driveway to accommodate more cars? Is there anything the car wash can work out with neighbors to route the car wash traffic?

It is not the business. They have the drive necesary. It is the idiot motorist that would have the stupidity to stop in the middle of a main thoroughfare in the middle of the day and wait in line.

Will it take a serious accident here before citations are issued for stopping on the road? If you want the car washed, keep circling the block until you can get in. Why not spring for a couple of extra bucks and go to another car wash? I've been held up in traffic twice and it's aggravating!

Yesterday, a car stopped on the road in front of me waiting to turn right into the car wash. I laid on my horn for about 10 seconds, and then the driver (after turning his head around to give me a dirty look) finally continued to go straight. The city needs to do something about this since it creates a major traffic jam and will eventually cause an accident.

yup it`s pretty rediculous...and somewhat dangerous..(is a car wash that important?)
