Descrição
For months we have been calling and emailing Streets and Sanitation to clean up the dumping ground that is our front door and only connections to our neighborhood. Elizabeth to Morgan all are now homeless encampments. Mountains of garbage, piles of cinderblocks, discarded AC units, waist high grass and weeds, furniture, mattresses, needles and bottles. The conditions are highly unsafe.

Thank you for posting this! I've also posted a complaint about this ongoing issue. Something needs to be done before someone or someone's pet gets hurt.

Morgan Street street metra rail underpass is still a homeless encampment. There are now more people and more mattresses and more furniture than what is captured in the photos above.
The cinderblocks on Elizabeth Street were picked up but the garbage that was underneath them is still there. The mattress and debris on the north side of Elizabeth were also removed. The weeds were mowed. Thank you Linda and Streets and Sanitation for beginning to address these issues. Please follow through and lets close this issue. Let us know what we can do to be of help.
