Description
The intersection at Tenth and Coles is a three-way stop. The number and frequency of near-misses and horn hoking from drivers who ignore the stop signs completely, ignore pedestrians, or don't adhere to the rules of multi-way stop intersections is alarming. This becomes particularly apparent when traffic on the Holland Tunnel approaches is significant (i.e., Sunday evenings) when drivers are using Tenth and Coles as alternates (presumably guided by mobile apps) to either the tunnel or Newport.
I'm not qualified to suggest what needs to be done, but this is a mess and shouldn't be happening in a residential neighborhood.

How is random horn-honking or ignorance of the rules of the road a "police issue"? Do you actually think that calling the cops and saying, "Yeah, a couple minutes ago, somebody blew through a stop sign and almost caused an accident" is going to accomplish anything?
The traffic controls in place at the intersection are not working as intended. That's not a police issue, that's a traffic issue.
