This is a very dangerous corner, many complaints have been sent to Howard County as there are opposing left turns and it is dark. There have been many accidents over the years.

This is a very dark turn off of Oakland Mills, more lights on Sewells Orchard Drive would be helpful in keeping people from hitting the median in the middle of the intersection.

I hope someone does something. On behalf our Orchard Hill HOA - and with support of the other community Sewells Orchard - we have emailed and sent videos and begged the county to address this dangerous corner where there have been muiltple accidents (many during the day) over the years without any response. So I hope someone at the county will take this request seriously. Fingers crossed!!

the issue is an incline, street trees blocking the view leaving these neighborhoods, dark street and (according to the county folks) opposing left turns. fingers crossed!!

At Oakland Mills Road and Sewells Orchard Drive / Dawn Day Drive intersection, additional streetlights were installed on / about March 30, 2020.

As such, no further action is warranted.
