Q. Describe the roadway surface where the pothole is located:
A. concrete
A. concrete
Q. Is this another roadway surface issue, like raised or slipping asphalt?
A. yes
A. yes
Q. If yes, please describe the surface issue:
A. On 12/17/19 at approximately 8 am, two men wearing "Cahill Construction" work shirts jackhammered up a section of "Pink Streets" pavement at the intersection of 14th Street South and Serpentine Drive South. Thereafter they filled it in with gray concrete. I phoned the City pavement staff and left a voicemail yesterday morning noting that we'd never seen private contractors doing that kind of work on City streets and were concerned that they would not restore the pavement properly. So far as I can tell, that's exactly what happened. Don't know if Cahill thinks it has completed its work, but Cahill certainly should be called back and required to restore the street to its original condition (repairing with matching pavement).

Greetings Beth, Erin and Residents:
We investigated the area reported and found that a utility connection was done by a private agency. We realize the repair is not the desired aesthetic to blend in what is currently there. We will be reaching out to companies for a solution suitable to all. We thank you for your patience while we look into this solution.
