Hi PJ. Thanks for your interest. None of the other business owners are putting A-frames with a huge flag right in the middle of the main sidewalk like Solorzano’s Pizzeria. I’m not putting up stickers, I’m just removing them. They are little round stickers with an slimmer image of the lispy pizza gnome from Jersey with his name on it. I love this village. I have a business here. I don’t want some gnome coming in and messing it all up. No other businesses are running around putting business stickers on public signs. I did some research with the free clerknet from Sarasota County. This pizzeria business owner has been arrested 7 times since he moved to Florida. 0 convictions, not because he didn’t do anything, but because Sarasota County is incompetent. His MO is sucker punching people and running away. He filed bogus stalking charges against the female code enforcement officer for Siesta Key. He has filed bogus stalking charges against several people. He uses some derelict named Darren to help him. He brakes the county code rules constantly and now they have finally just given up because it’s too much work to go after him. I applaud all those that report him! Oh and he got a speeding ticket recently going 80 mph in 40mph zone in Venice. Let’s see if he loses his license. He should but probably won’t because Sarasota County is so completely incompetent. No wonder he loves it here. He gets away with everything he does.

I’ve seen his stickers too on lots of public signs. It says on the signs $500 fine for defacing them, which a sticker does, and no county officials going after him about it. They must still be afraid of him. Such a shame when government officials are so afraid that they won’t do their job.

Seams like you have a personal vendetta against this business owner, are you a business maybe in competition with those owners? I looked that business up you claim to be talking so bad about, and only found positive things about the owner. Here is the first thing that came up about how he feeds the homeless in the community, sounds like a stand up guy to me. Also the oldest pizzeria in the village with I believe 5 locations, they must be doing something right, because most businesses don't last on Siesta Key for more then two years. I applaud him and what he does for the community.

I also went in today with my daughters and dog, pizza was fresh and ingredients were superb! I will definitely be back, thank you for the recommendation, or I would of never went. I asked for the owner, but he was not around, I wanted to applaud him for his kindness and generosity. What a stand up guy, the community needs more people like him.
