I cleaned it up..AGAIN.. as I di 3 x week at least...A RENTER on 11th Ave. moves it every time it is emptied by city to right in front of my driveway so I have to move it and pick up all the trash before I can pull in driveway from a CITY STREET!!! Getting very very tired of picking up trash !!!!!!!

Please move off city street and into an alley!!!!!!

This issue has been assigned to a Sanitation Inspector for further investigation.

There is no alley for the homes on 8th St Ct S but maybe the city can assign a small can for each home so they can each keep it behind a fence or at least out of the street. The city uses these huge cans as a convenience and its obviously not appropriate for this situation.

There is an alley right across from where this large can sits ON THE STREET. The alley is behind the homes on 11th....not even 50 feet away. @ BoredHousewife...you are absolutely right! The homes on 11th that do not have an alley behind them are assigned and given small cans to use. The only people I have seen use this large can sitting on the street are the people walking by and SOMETIMES throwing in the can or usually throwing trash on the ground around it. I found 3 large wine bottles in my yard yesterday because someone just threw them at the can but not in. Cars have to swerve around it after the city sanitation dumped it because the sanitation truck leaves it sitting directly out in the street after pickup.

The trashcan also has a broken lid, now open lid, which make it a health hazard. Water can get in so becomes a mosquito breeding ground and rats all around. Duke Power is changing the lines along that street and the can will need to be moved when they start working.

No moving as of yet..just a sticker put on the top to not dump mattress or furniture in can...remains in the open on a city street..NOT in the alley 50 feet away...please move off city street!

We are in the process of removing the 300 gallon container and providing 90 gallon containers to residents who currently use the alley container.
