Hi SallyQ -- Were you on Mansfield Street? On upper Mansfield or on Lower Mansfield (near #105; near Yale Hockey/Ingalls Rink/Yale Whale)... Or was it on Winchester or Prospect Street? Or ...? There are dozens and dozens of porches in the radius around here, and we've searched many, and will continue to do so, but it would really help if you could pin it down a little more. Thank you for the suggestion. All animal control and vets and shelters and similar places were notified, plus Nextdoor, Facebook, PawBoost, etc. I'd try LinkedIn, too, but as far as I know, my kitty does not have a career. ;*

I’m so sorry your kitty got out. I’m directly opposite you on Winchester. I will keep an eye out for him. If my cat got out and was shy/skittish, I’d setup a “Havahart” trap outside the same door or window he got out from. Put a blanket over it that smells like him and/or you (familiar scent) and put his litter box outside too. You might be able to borrow a Havahart trap from animal control. One time my kitty got out and I just left the window open that he escaped from. Sure enough, at about 3am he jumped in through the open window and starting meowing loudly for everyone to wake up and feed him. So if you feel comfortable leaving the window or door open for him, he might just saunter back in on his own.

I'm happy to say that my cat came home!!! He appeared in the middle of the night and we are thrilled! Hungry and thirsty, but looking good, especially since he was gone for two weeks! Thank you, everyone, for your help!!!

What does it mean when someone's comment is removed and labeled "Content blocked by rejections"? (Like joseph.xh88 above)

It can be that a word that was used was rejected by See Click Fix and sent to them for review.

An example is the word g*n

Oh; I figured it was because the person wrote something meant to insult and humiliate and denigrate a previous writer or the subject in general. Not one of George Carlin's Dirty Words (IF g*n was one of George's words?). If so, ridiculous! It's not like we're delicate children here; for example, we have become accustomed to a certain c-i-c who regularly uses what once were considered rude and shocking words to use in public, such as p***y. So, I'm guessing that the truly dirty word that raised the alarm was t***p.
