Description

Heavy vehicle traffic from people trying to get to and from I95 and heavy pedestrian traffic from people walking to and from the Yale medical campus make this an extremely busy intersection. Since the bridge construction began, it's gotten even worse, especially for pedestrians. Would it be possible to make the walk signal longer to allow pedestrians enough time to cross the street and/or to better alert drivers to the heavy pedestrian traffic?
