Thank you for contributing Noelle228. Buses should be going A LOT slower considering their stopping distance. The amount of speeding, distracted driving and blowing Red Lights in Chicopee Is absolutely nauseating and AGAIN the Ward 5 Alderman (Fred) should be front and center and Involved in this stuff. So... Fred, I know you read this stuff. I'm asking you to start getting HEAVILY Involved in all of the Vehicle related Issues in your ward. January 13th 2020 is my first request to you. Thank you and I look forward to speaking to you in person on what you've done.

Ok I will. How silly of me to think that our Police Department would be concerned or want to be involved in a public safety Issue involving a bus full of Kids...... Thanks.

We absolutely do care. However, we cannot take action on a past vehicle offense. The company that employs the drivers, and runs the busses is best to handle it. They have more authority over the drivers and their actions in a situation such as this then we do. Please call if this bus is operating like this, and a car can be sent. If an officer observes this dangerous driving, they can take action on the issue. So, its not about not caring, its about the best way to handle your issue. Thanks

The best way to handle it is to have the police involved. If you made 1 simple phone call to the bus company they'd take action and we'd be done with this. I've called before and they were rude and could care less.

Us calling does no good. We did not witness or see this activity. Its best to come from a citizen or citizens who witnessed this. I cannot answer questions if they ask, as I did not see it. I would suggest calling the school department transportation office if the company was rude. Thanks

All of the Five Star Buses have GPS installed. They're used to monitor vehicle actions INCLUDING speed. I called and spoke to the manager Steve (nice guy) as policy the buses are suppose to be going 5 below the speed limit. Please call them if you have a concern.
