Description
You've heard it before that some condition is a hazard, but there is no embellishment or exaggeration to this one. Speeds are insane along Craycroft and Kolb near where they come together around 6500 north, especially the southbound lane of Craycroft near Finistera, and the southbound lane of Kolb from Tomayo past the elementary school. Speed limit is 35 but speeds of 50 and 60 mph are common during rush hour. This is a stretch of road with no sidewalks that is popular with walkers and cyclists, and parents taking their kids to school. A good place for radar is the entrance to Miramist or the entrance to Finistera. And judging by the amount of discarded liquor bottles and drug paraphernalia, some drivers are impaired. Thank you.
