I sure hope this manhole cover and the one on Fairgreen Trace get fixed soon. It's been on SeeClickFix for 31 days and been an issue for over a year.

I am sorry for the delay. We will work with Newnan Utilities to see if there may be a problem with the sanitary sewer that would cause the pavement around the manhole to settle. Following that, we will repair the asphalt to better match the elevation of the manhole.

Newnan Utilities will adjust the manhole down to the road surface until such time the road is scheduled for repairs and maintenance.

City Engineer assigned this issue to Newnan Public Works Department

Hopefully Newnan Utilities can hold up on their end of the deal since it's still an issue 61 days out.
