Description

Once students are released from Ingram-Pye Elementary, most of them either walk towards the area of Felton Avenue in the direction of Ell Street or towards Jeff Davis Street. This area does not have sidewalks for pedestrians and this is very unsafe for these small children. Vehicles often turn and have to drive in the other lane to make sure the children are not hit. BOE Officers and Crossing Guards have been providing coverage and assisting, but sidewalks are desperately needed in this area. The sidewalk near the crossing guard on the corner of Felton and Ell is also crumbled and is a tripping hazard.
