This vehicle has been left on our street for several months. It was recently moved to the end of the street, where people are now inhabiting the car. This has led to an extreme level of blight and it has created an environment for trash and potentially other homeless habitats. Multiple reports have been filed, to deal with this situation but nothing has been done. This situation has been allowed to go on for to long! Please do somethings about this!

Thank you for acknowledging this report. However, this specific abandoned car has been reported, acknowledged by the city multiple times, but nothing has been done. Please respond to our request! Thank you!
Due to the vehicle being occupied, this 311 service request has been forwarded to the Homeless Encampment Team. Please contact that section for any follow ups.
For the city taking to long to take the car, now more abandoned cars are left with people living there. Its not ok and not save, especially if kids live next to this mess. Please just take the cars
How many people have to complain before the city does something about this!?!?. I called the city last week and was told that this illegal dumping situation now falls under the classification of ‘property of the homeless encampment’ therefore it must be handled by a different department. It should be common sense, just pick up the trash!!!! I completely understand that the city is overwhelmed by homeless encampments but many of these encampments are in commercial areas under freeway overpasses, however, this is a residential neighborhood. Property owners pay taxes to this city to protect us and keep the streets clean. This is an example of their failure to do that! This is a public health hazard! I am seriously considering the measures that I can take to elevate this issue, to a platform where it will get more attention. The lack of responsiveness to this situation, (car was reported abandoned 6 months ago and trash 4 weeks ago), has left this street in 3rd world conditions.
There are now 3 cars with 3-4 male individuals who are living in these cars, with garbage continuing to pile. This is directly in front of residential homes. There are several young women (including myself) who live on this street. When I step out of my home wearing anything remotely revealing, these men stare me down like hawks - and in this cruel world we live in, I am honestly afraid of for my safety. What more can I - and other residents on this block - do to resolve this issue? If Oak311 is not the place, then please direct us with helpful information on who to contact. This has gone long enough.
