Description
Trumbul and Prospect is finally open in both directions, but why is this not the case with Canal St?
Jersey curbs still divide the road and make it one lane running away from Prospect. There appears to be no reason for this. There is no work going on nearby. The road surface is in place, as are the kerbs.

The jersey barriers are there for a reason. Rather than demanding they be removed, I would suggest going back to the area to re-assess your assumption that it remains one-way for no reason. You might discover that no permenant guardrails have been installed on the east side of Canal St. There is a significant drop in elevation, where the road is elevated above the Farmington Canal Trail. The road is also very narrow so there is no room to allow two lanes here until the guardrails are installed.
Thank you.

When will the guard rails be installed?

My point here is that this is the only alternative corridor between the Grove St PWG area and Orange St other than Broadway.
Now that the Yale Health Plan is operational only exacerbates this issue more.
When o' when will this project finally be finished and the roads re-opened?
