There are intersections at 11800 S @ 4000 W and 3600 W which are maintained and operated by Salt Lake County, or are you concerned with the signals on 11400 S between 4000 W and 3600 W - Those are maintained and operated by UDOT. Please let us know so we can further investigate this concern.

The lights at 11800 south and mountain view corridor. East/west travel needs longer green lights during the hours of 8-10am and then again from 4-6pm. It backs up half way east to 4000west

I also noticed only 10 cars getting through the light (18 seconds green) going east bound on 11800 S at 7:50am

I noticed the same going west bound at 5:50 pm today (9 cars got through the 18 second green light)

Thank you for contacting UDOT. Our crews have evaluated this signal and due to COVID-19 traffic has decreased dramatically removing the issue. Also, to give this movement more time means taking it from the north/south which would make it much worse. Favoring the heaviest movements reduces overall delay and reduces overall idling emissions which is the best for air quality.
