It’s getting worse. Ponderosa Mills is now taking up about 5 parking spaces and completely blocking the sidewalk “storing” their logs on public property

You have several choices the logs, illegal dumping or a chain of feces dumping RVs. Seems that there is already all three. Contact the mayors office and your city council person. The PWD will only pick up the illegal dumping as long as it does belong to some self medicating street person. For Ponderosa Mills contact code and blight enforcement 510-238-3381. The feral paint huffing vandal art is also a nice touch.

Apparently the city does not care that a business is using the sidewalk and street parking spaces for storage by a local business. These logs are still there and every Thursday and Friday it is a struggle to find parking because of street sweeping.Sure would be nice to have 4-5 more parking spaces on this street.

Logs are still here taking up parking spaces on a street with several businesses. It's a common occurrence for customers coming to my shop to call me on the phone from outside and say, "It's like the wild wild west out here. Where should I park?"

I guess I can be assured that if I decide to use half a block of sidewalk and parking spaces to store my junk it would be fine.

I don't know if someone from the City told them to clear the road of their logs, but it was clear for about 2 weeks, but they are back at it again, monopolizing parking spaces.

They are still blocking parking spaces with logs.

Now they are putting logs and gigantic "bags" (each about the size of a small car) of trash on the street. Definitely not resolved yet. Been going on for well over a year.

Still blocking at least 8 parking spaces and spilling into the street. My customers are still complaining that there is no where to park, and I got a ticket for double parking because I had to double park for 15 minutes to deal with a delivery and there was no parking on the street due to all of this garbage taking up parking spaces.

Ok. I guess it is fine to take up half of a city block to store random material. That's good to know because I have TONS of stuff I would rather not store in my shop that I pay rent and taxes on.

It keeps getting worse and worse. Cars are constantly double parking, business customers are getting tickets for double parking. I have heard nothing from Oakland about what can be done about this.

It has been 2 years and it is only getting worse. WTF?
