Description

Oil spills in apron surrounding Auto Zone, just before the Watershed Sign on Elmwood Avenue, Providence. DEM was notified about this and so have the News outlets.

I am a resident of Elmwood, and I think this type of pollution should be on the news.

I have sent both notices and pictures of this scene over the last 2 years to DEM, and to 2 of our local TV stations for a response and to date we have never received any positive action.

Nothing has been done about this area as of April 1, 2011. Maybe the DEM sign should be changed or removed as it has emerged as an embarrassment for this Government Agency and the City of Providence.
