Description
Peachtree Road north of Ansley Park has a surprising amount of bike traffic during the day, but offers no facilities to make this major north-south connection safer for cyclists. The design and lack of speed limit enforcement encourages auto speeding, and no bike lanes, traffic signal coordination, nor signage is provided for cyclists. Atlanta needs a better, safer N-S connector, at least up to Peachtree Battle, where other riding options are available to the west and east. I ride a short part of this almost everyday, and I never feel comfortable or safe.
