I wasn't aware of that light being broken since I only go past the school in the late afternoon. I am aware that schools are not typically in session at 5pm, but after school activities typically make speed limits go down in school zones from 8am-5pm, at least where I am from.
In this area, even in the regular 30 mph zone, people still go well over 40mph which is just ridiculous. I guess they do this because there are never police cars around. Speed limits are there for a reason, they aren't a suggestion.
Get a grip and calm down. The school lights are a very good idea when they are working. They are for the kids being droped off and picked up at the end of the school day. Most people know when that is and it is NOT 5:00PM or any where near that.
Can we please close this issue. The blinking school light is still broken almost three years later. No thing is has been or is going to happen on this issue. Next............
