Is the preliminary traffic study completed? how much more time it would need to actually install a stop sign?

Apologies for the delayed response. A preliminary traffic assessment was conducted based on Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) guidelines as outlined in the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). The assessment included a review of the intersection’s crash history. Based on JCPD crash reports, this intersection does not meet the minimum FHWA threshold for major crashes to warrant a change in traffic control. Therefore, we do not recommend the installation of a new stop sign at this location at this time.
