West Haven's Officer Pimer is assigned to deal with signal issues in W. Haven which is where this intersection is located. CT DOT also shares responsibility since Rt 34 is a State route. Officer Pimer did respond a couple years ago to my request to have the stop line repainted. I think more re-painting is required and perhaps a Stop Here sign. Anyway, this intersection is not one of the +2200 New Haven intersections, so back to NH issues for now...

Unsure when this will get resolved. I hope no one is hurt or worse before this intersection is monitored.

This intersection desperately needs a turning lane. During the am and pm rush hour traffic it is very hard to take a left onto Central Ave from Derby Ave. There are many near accidents here caused by drivers who don't realize a car is stopped because it is trying to turn onto Central Ave.
