Description
The temporary crosswalk at the corner of Boynton Rd and High Street is not very visible due to library construction and parked cars. There really should be a push button to illuminate a warning light for a pedestrian in the crosswalk. At least something similar to what exists at Governors Ave and High Street if not a fully operational traffic light.

Parking on the south side of High Street is restricted for at least 2 car lengths prior to the corsswalk (to allow for better sightlines). On the north side, the side street (Boynton Rd.) provides similar distance prior to the corsswalk (allowing some sight line). We have directed ParkMedford to enforce the south side restriction. An actuated flashing treatment is not planned at this temp. crosswalk location.
