Description
The button actuated walk light is not functioning at the corner of dalton parkway and broad street for any of the corners. That makes it scary for me, a middle school student, to walk to Collins.

This issue has been noted over two and 1/2 weeks ago. Not one response from the City or our Ward Counselor until yesterday ( in one of many other posts about this intersection) They City Electrician said they have order a motor or some such part and when it arrived they will fix it.
What a complete disregard to public safety that a crosswalk light that is for school children is relegated to “ we will fix when the part comes” instead of:
1. The Electric Dept keeps parts like this on hand for such occasions when public safety is at issue.
Or
2. Remove the part from another, less critical crosswalk and fix the light where children’s safety is at risk.
This attitude is just plain irresponsible and I hope we get through this debacle as soon as possible and no one is injured.
